look into the future
what do you see
eyes staring back
is the face of me
search deep inside
deeper you go
I will be there
this you must know
where can you hide
from the thing you fear
sulking in shadows
it's always near
wrapped in the cosmos
running through time
it's a cosmic endeavor
for your heart and mine
starfields surround you
but you can not see
the thing you fear most
just can not be
step on the water
fly through the ground
hear what you see there
then touch the sound
a cosmic endeavor
this search for Truth
no one to turn to
now just only you
smile as you pass me
or stay awhile
everything is possible
as captured in a smile
twistings and turnings
can't know the end
into the stars now
a feeling to send
a cosmic endeavor
on the great quest
to find THE answer
if only a guess
what an adventure
then in the end
it wasn't the ending
or a turn in the bend
All of the while
you had it in hand
