YOU’LL FIND ME
In a place so dark and deep
A place that you can’t see
Hiding at the shadow’s edge
That’s where you’ll find me
Waiting for the time to strike
Avoiding all that's light
Lurking in the darkness there
Just waiting for the night
As the blackness crawls its way
With the setting sun
Shadows deepen on the land
A signal for this one
In this place where quiet rules
Where virtue longs to flee
Silent screams attending there
That’s where you’ll find me
Not so sinister is the night
As is the fear within
It is what you do not know
Which is the greatest sin
The fog it settles on the path
On the way you try to go
What is waiting there ahead
Is knowledge you can not know
There is no moon to light the way
To show you where to turn
Safety is a distant dream
Its comfort you still yearn
As your heart begins to pound
And the road you can not see
There! In the shadows up ahead
Could that just be me?
