Just For Knowing You
Don’t push to hard
Don’t pull away
When my heart is whole
The words I’ll say
It’s not a thing I know
It’s something torn inside
Waiting for the healing
Waiting to be alive
It’s not the way you look
The beauty that you are
Nor even the smile you have
The one rivaling all the stars
And oh the touch of you
Sets sparks to flame in me
Scents and feels and many things
Things I can not see
Don’t ever doubt, don’t ever fear
You are a gem it’s true
And I am greater still inside
Just for knowing you
