Robi, Sera's brother, doing what he does best. No, not guarding the porch, soaking up the sun. Robi is light wheaten with a black mask, an acceptable color for Rhodesian Ridgebacks, although not seen very often.

Sera

This is Fezzy, Robi and Sera's mom. Robi and Fezzy bear a strong family resemblance. Robi is in the background trying to play "keep away" with Sera.

Sera's Story:  Sera and Robi are littlermates, but Sera didn't make it out of her puppy mill existence until August of this year.  Sera, along with her mother Fezzy, and 7 other dogs found permanent loving homes through the wonderful efforts of the Ridgeback Rescue.   Fezzy was fostered by a couple in Michigan who also have a Labrador Retriever, Marla, and guess where she will be staying permanently? You got it!  Fezzy's wonderful, loving, and "motherly"  temperment won over the hearts of her foster family, and her new step-sister Marla. Fezzy is only four years old, but has had a tough life up until now having litter after litter.  We wish her all of the happiness that she truly deserves, as we know she will be absolutely spoiled from now on!!!
