Preface

After the attack of CIH, I can no longer use the Dreamweaver to update my old HP anymore. Therefore, I set up this simple "temporary" site to handle my photography works for public issue. Please refer to the related section below for access. You are also welcomed to visit the other sections. If you have any problems or questions, please contact me by e-mail. Comment to individual picture is a valuable asset to me. At the end, thank you for your visit.

Hi everybody! This is the message form the owner, please read if you interest.

Happy 2000!

After the bloody final exam, I can finally have some rest in the year end and work on this HP again. Well, of course, I use a lot more time to play the Gran Tourismo 2, days and nights….

I have got a digital camera lately, it really helps in my photo works. Now I can use it for some proof shots, and I can also send my pictures to the NG and my friends more quickly. You know, the pictures of event like June 4 become less powerful after a week of it, that's why.

In addition, it also means that I have more chance to do snap shot photography. You'll see more pictures in the new "More that General" section.

That's about it, I hope everyone will have a better year (semester) in the 2000. (Who knows how many subjects I have failed in the Dec final exam…)

Ed, Late Oct 99

Well, October is a long month… All sorts of homework, lab report hue together. I would say October is the worst school time in my life ever. In this difficult period, I start to realize how much I like to take pictures. Whenever I get really tire about my works, I can't help myself to have the attempt to grab my camera and get my butt out of my desk. ^o^ ~~

I have visited some personal HP lately. This makes me want to create a new HP again. I don't think this can be done in a short time; at least, it has to be done in the Christmas time but not any earlier. My family plan to get a new computer. If that's true, then I can finally type my HP in Chinese and use the Dreamweaver again. I look forward for all of this. Shortly, I have re-edit my old HP, so that it can quit the EVIL control of the fortune city. If you haven't visited my old HP before, you're more than welcome to do so.

Finally. It's the autumn again. I'll make some pictures of the beautiful autumn scene later. Be expected, ok? ^.^

After the long summer vacation, September is the month for us to come back to the real world…sigh~!

I took so many pictures this summer, totally 19 rolls of colour films and about 3 rolls of B&W films. That means about 600+ pictures were taken in this July and August. Incredible, isn't?

However, I think photography is a matter of quality, but not quantity. Personally, I don't think I did a good job in term of quality. I think in this way because of two events: First, I've successfully subscribed the photography magazine "The New Century of Photography", which is sponsor by Canon (http://www.canon.co.jp, search for CASA). The pictures in the magazine are so artistic and creative. This makes me re-consider the value of my works: "Did I try to be creative when I took the pictures? Did I try to take pictures in some new aspects?" These questions start to bugging me a lot…and the worst of all, the same questions come up again when I visit the HP of a fine art student (http://altern.org/alicekok/index.htm). the sad thing for me is, I feel like I stay in the same place for all these years. I just really really need a break though in my art works. I even start to wonder if I should make the decision to study in civil engineering. I think, I may be a happy guy if I can study in fine art… Well, it's too late to say all these now, I still have to work on day after day.

Here are some news about myself: Finally, Perspective uses five of my pictures in the Sep,99 issue, although the printing quality ruin the result. This is a very good encouragement to me. September is a good time to take pictures of the autumn, let see if I could made some nice shots this month.

Year!!!!! After a long period of expectation, my GF finally come to Canada lar!!! Haha!

Well, She'll stay in Canada for two months, we will have some good time for sure. No wonder I'll take lots of pictures for her, so you will see those pictures come up from now. I think I'll set up a section for her pictures later on, just wait until I finish my mid-term of this summer semester.

I'm damn busy for my summer semester. Because of the workload, I don't have as much time as I expected before. Hopefully I'll have more time to take picture from August.

Alright… My computer was attacked by the CIH (Don't laugh! It's not funny at all!). Needless to say how difficult for me to bring my computer back to the normal condition. For those who interest in making virus… please, please stop this kind of non-sense behaviour. I would say most of the victims are just like me: computer idiot. Sigh~!

The sad news is, most of my jpeg files were lost in this disaster. So I won't be able to redo my pictures unless I scan them in computer again. Anyway, I have got some new pictures this time. I hope every one of you will enjoy them.
