After enjoying the day with all my Kiddies and needless to say, It was a Zoo here that day, the Hillbillys left and Chris, Deb and the girls were here to enjoy the wonderful Arizona Sun Shine. Well some of the time. The last 3 days they were here it turned cold and windy. But we had managed to get our site seeing and little trip to Mexico during the sunny, warm days. |

Brandi and Jennifer stayed here with us in our little "Castle" and Deb and Chris had their evenings at the motel. Debbie was due for a break from all kids, with the exception of Chris, who is the biggest kid of all. While my house remained a disaster area all week, we did manage to get from room to room. We enjoyed having the girls so much. Brandi enjoyed my Golf Cart and they enjoyed bicycling around the park. We played a little shuffleboard, had fun with friends here and the closeness and love of having our family here was the highlight of their visit. We also had loads of laughs and there was a lot of clownin' around. |

This was our day to to to Algedones, Mexico. It was a beautiful day to enjoy the Mexican culture and people. The kids, even Jenny learned very fast how to get the most for their money. Of course Brandi had a little extra going for her as she smiled and flirted with the young Mexican vendors. They bought sunglasses, jewelry, blankets and various other things. The lunch we had at Pueblo Viejo was very good and they also enjoyed the Music of the Mariachis. We had a couple of cool drinks on the Patio there. All in all it was a great day and one we all will remember. |

Chris got out and scouted around on the Desert and was in complete awe. He insisted on us going out to look at the stars and the full moon. He picked a night when the wind came up and although it got pretty miserable, the skies were beautiful. He took the girls out one day for a little hill climbing and adventuring too. |

We decided to go to Lute's Casino in Old Yuma. They had been there before and wanted to go back. Our dear friends, Don and Lois, went with us. A couple of pitchers was consumed and the girls managed to win a couple of prizes in the Treasure Chest. We enjoyed our time there then went to a restaurant called "Burger's and Beer". Best burgers in Yuma. Here is some pictures of that afternoon. |

We were invited over to the Grotes for a little "Patio Party" and Don demonstrated for us how to fix an "MRE" (Meals Ready to Eat). For those of you who don't know what a "MRE" is, it's a complete meal in a bag. These meals are used for the Military out training, in war or conflicts and shipped to many places where needed. Don got these from his son and thru the Winter has become an expert cooking them. There is everything in them. Everything from matches to toilet paper, cookies, gum, peanut butter, crackers, candy and then the main meal. With a small shot of water, these meals cook right in the bag. Everyone watches in awe. We have had many laughs and good times. Below are some of the pictures taken at that "GRAND EVENT". |

Hope you have enjoyed these two pages of our Family here in Arizona. I know I enjoyed putting it all together. After all the anticipation, hype and having kiddies here for two weeks, I finally crashed for a couple of days after they all left. WE HAD A BALL but the "Old Gray Mare, She Ain't what She used to be". LMAO |
