TELL THE WORLD The Bible says to confess with your mouth what God has done for you, where He's brought you from, and what He's doing in your life. Tell the world!! This section of 212 Degrees--Boiling Point is set aside for testimonies. Maybe something you've gone through, or are in the middle of right now, can help someone else in his or her situation. Maybe God can use your testimony, your story, to bless someone else and in turn bless you as well. And maybe you can benefit from something someone else has to say. If nothing else, testifying results in giving glory to God, and THAT is our divine purpose! ISSUES WE FACE Do you ever wonder if God's Word has any practical advice concerning the issues we face today? Well, guess what--the Bible has plenty to say about most of our modern-day problems and concerns. Maybe it doesn't actually use the same terms we do now...but as King Soloman advised in Ecclesiastes, "there is nothing new under the sun." The Bible was written a long time ago, and times have changed a little since then. But God hasn't changed a bit, and neither have his commands! KNOW THE TRUTH When you get depressed it is easy to *feel* like no one cares, like God is far away, and like you are very much alone. As Christians we are supposed to go by what we *know* and not by what we *feel*. What do you *know* about God? What kinds of things does the Bible tell you for certain about God? And what kinds of things has God shown you personally about Himself? In this part of 212 Degrees--Boiling Point we are going to keep a running list of things we *know* to be true about God. But I also want to challenge each of you to start your own list on a regular piece of paper or in a notebook. Add to your list every day, and when you start feelilng depressed or alone turn back to your list and see how awesome God is! Know The Truth!

THINK ABOUT IT Throughout the Bible we find many parables that Jesus told the disciples and crowds that gathered around Him. He used these parables to help make it a little easier and clearer to understand some of the harder things He was trying to tell them. These parables really caused people to think, back in Jesus' time and now in our time. Well...most of these "parables" featured here in this section aren't taken from God's Word, but the messages behind them are. SPECIAL INSERT ARTICLES This section of 212 Degrees--Boiling Point is a miscellaneous area for all the special insert articles that are not written specifically for a regular column, but are more like featured articles whose titles you'd find in bold on the front cover of a print magazine. They cover a wide variety of topics relevant to teens today, and they're designed to encourage and challenge you to live totally sold out and on fire for the Living God! So, go ahead, take a peek... PRAY FOR REVIVAL This is something that I've been really thinking a lot about lately. Revival: our country, our whole world needs it now like never before. With school shootings happening so often, abortions being performed tons of times every day legally, and the occult in full-swing throughout our society, it seems that God has been put on the back-burner. I want to really encourage you to take a few minutes EVERY day to pray for revival to sweep through your country and world. Pray for your youth group and church, for your school, for your community, for your state and country....for all the leaders and people who make decisions that affect us all. Prayer is a very powerful tool, and the Bible says that when two or three are gathered in prayer, He is there in their midst. Thank you...

Note From The Editor It's June, and this issue is very late in coming, I know. I truly wish I were free to work on the 'zine full-time--writing and designing and researching for the articles--but I have to make school a priority at this point in my life. So I end up writing for the 'zine in my free moments whenever I get the chance, which means I work on one or a few articles one week (making as much progress as I can) and then may not get the opportunity to return to them for a few weeks. I want you all to know, though, that my passion for the 'zine is not letting up, that this still is a priority even though it doesn't look like it. I'm sorry I haven't kept to my schedule...but I hope this issue will still speak to you and that you won't give up on me. Anyway, enough of that... I've noticed a lot more people are visiting 212 Degrees lately, so I want to welcome all the new folks to the 'zine and say I hope you're both blessed and challenged by my (and the other contributors') offerings here. This issue seems to center on revival, growing closer to God, and realizing our sinful ways and the road they're leading us down so we can turn from them and embrace God and His truth. Lately God has been teaching me personally to "go deeper," to let go of the things that may be holding me back, and allow myself to follow Him with pure abandon and trust, knowing that He will direct my paths according to His perfect plan if only I'll let Him lead. We're one day closer to Christ's return now than we were yesterday, one month closer than last month, a year closer than last year. I feel a sense of urgency to live like there may not be a tomorrow, like I may come face to face with the Lord Jesus Christ at any given moment.
