Shooting Star Design Network (SSDN) was established in December 12, 2001 by C H Lai. The reason the name "Shooting Star" was chosen was because since I was a child, people always told me that each time when you see a "Shooting Star", make a wish and your dreams will come true, though it is sound superstition and like a fairy tale to me. However, whether it is true or not, I do believe that people always need good news and good luck. That was the reason I put Shooting Star as my company name. It won't disappear, but it will continue shooting in a good and positive way, to bring good wishes and joy to people. That means each time when "shooting star" comes by you, it will be good luck surrounding you.

Personally, I'm aware that shooting star comes from far and away and it won't go back to its original place, but it will continue to shine on people and touch people's hearts and dreams. And I always believe that Shooting Star is a very unique star among all stars in the universe, because each time a person sees a shooting star, it will cheer up a person with hope and motivation. Indeed it is a wonderful lifetime experience to see a shooting star. And I wish everyone on earth at least has the opportunity to see shooting stars once in a lifetime. I also challenge you to dream with us, and hopefully work together with us to build a better future with positive thinking. If you can do it, your wishes will come true eventually...together with us.
