Education Resources:  A source of online lesson plans and activities.  It has links for all grade levels, and most subject areas.

K-12 Resources and Lesson Plans:  An extremely comprehensive site for teachers of all grade levels and subject areas.  Allow a few hours to browse through this site.  It provides links to many valuable resources for teachers.

National Council of Teachers of English:  This is the official site of the National Council of Teachers of English, and it offers information on their publications and conferences.  One especially helpful resource on this website is "Notes Plus"  which is a collection of ideas and lessons that teachers have contributed to the publication Notes Plus.

Storytelling, Drama, Creative Dramatics, Puppetry, & Readers Theater for Children & Young Adults:  This site is focused on drama, but it could be valuable for English teachers as well.  Incorporating creativity into the English classroom is always useful in promoting creative writing skills.

Language Arts Links:  This site offers links to language arts resources, and each site is reviewed so teachers can quickly decide if it will be useful to them.

Writing Plans from the Teacher's Desk: A collection of lesson plan links for numerous writing activities, including impromptu writing and story starters.

Teachers.Net:  A collection of chatboards, lesson plans, chat rooms, live meetings, and other useful resources for teachers of all subject areas.

Teachers Helping Teachers:  A resource which has a chatroom each Sunday night, a collection of lesson plans, and teaching tips and ideas for all subject areas.

Purdue Online Writing Lab:  A good reference resource for writing rules and procedures.  It has a lot of helpful links for teachers, too.

Literary Resources:  This site has numerous links to literature and literature resources.

Modern Library's List of 100 Best Novels:  A collection of the titles of the best 100 books of the 20th Century.  It has a list of books the board of the Modern Library selected as the top 100 and a list that reader's selected, too.

Children's Literature Web Guide:  An excellent resource which lists books which have won various awards.  It also has numerous links to literature resources and book reviews.

Discovery School/Kathy Schrock's Site for Educators:    A wonderful site with links that are useful for all grade levels.

Global School Network:  An interesting site which contains links to numerous project ideas and offers the opportunity for educators to connect with one another worldwide.

Scholastic: A site which has lots of helpful links for teachers of all grade levels, especially language arts teachers.  The site has lesson plan links, neat lesson ideas, and numerous other helpful resources.

Outta Ray's Head:  A site which has lesson plan links, handouts and ideas specifically for English teachers.
