Nobody can change the world, things being as they are, they signal that there is a demand for unique works of Art, and if a process such as printing makes multiple copies possible then artificial limitation keep a sense of uniqueness.
A certificate will accompany all prints, signed by the Artist, you and your heirs will always know what you aquired. The Artist retains the right of reproduction unless willed other wise.
The limited number of prints are possible completed works of the Artist.
