VNSA HOME PAGE

Dear fellow students,

Welcome back to another great year of study, fun and excitement. But a big welcome to all the members and friends, both old and new that belong to VNSA.

So what is VNSA-QUT? Basically, VNSA stands for "VietNamese Student Association". We are a group whose purpose is to represent students (especially the Vietnamese) at QUT. We are here on campus to assist students to adjust to University life. By providing support through friends and members, whether it be finding your lecture rooms, university resources, lending text books, examinations etc. Remember, WE ARE HERE TO HELP OUT! As well as assisting you understand issues, we also are a means which you can interact with new friend which have thing in common as you do, like knowing what "nuoc ma'm" is. We associate through our social events that we hold thorughout the year. These range from Dances, Barbeques, Balls, Cultural Night and so on. Most of these are written out in the years agenda.

"Mr. President!"

At the end of the 1997 year, we held an AGM. This was for the purpose of deciding who the representatives of VNSA will be for the year to come. After an hour of confusion, we finally decided on the 1998 representatives. The new president that was voted by many, was none other than Thê´ Pham (Seen Above). The rest of the committee can be seen below. This picture is excluding yours truly, but you all know who I am. We will promise you more fun in the year to come.

Just a quick note to everyone, the page has had some changes over the holidays, we've now made it possible so that you can directly send email to us from this page. Just click on the email button and fill in all the details and send in your comments. There is also a guestbook up and running now, fill in the forms and say what you want, other people will also be able to see your comments so write something cool! Other then that make sure you come back and visit the page on a regular basis, as it will be a venue for which events will be posted. Oh and "GOOD LUCK" to everyone this year!
