Tool
Coachella
Festival (Indio, CA) Oct 10 1999 [A Digital]
Setlist:
This is a great show. I just
recently got into Tool from a recommendation from
friends, and I now love them. They play a great mix of
old and new here, all of it sounds great. Sound quality
is almost perfect from an audience mic -- no distortions
at all. The only thing is that you can hear (very
quietely) some nearby audience members singing along, and
speaking various wonderments during the performance
artists' performance (Hanna & Mark on the setlist at
left, check some of the reviews at the link below for
more details. Samples: "There are naked people
haning from ropes above the stage!" "What the
fuck!" "Holy Shit!") It's all very subtle
and quiet and I think it's pretty cool actually. Check here for a
multitude of reviews by hardcore Tool fans at the
Toolshed. It's a double CD, but it should completely fill
a 90 min. tape. Note: "Spasm" and "You Lied" are covers of the band Peach, an old band of one of the members. Bothe feature the guitarist from the Melvins. |
