Barbara Fumagalli received her M.F.A. degree from the University of Iowa, Iowa City, in 1950.

Her work as an engraver-printmaker has been exhibited nationally including:

  • The Walker Art Center, Minneapolis, MN
  • The Seattle Art Museum and the Library of Congress
  • The 1966-1968 traveling exhibition of the Smithsonian Institute

  • The Minnesota Mining and Manufacturing Co.
