In my short twenty years I have lived all over the goddamned country, including Toledo, Waterville, Bowling Green, and Grand Rapids, Ohio; Phoenix, Arizona; Broken Arrow, Oklahoma; Boise and Caldwell, Idaho; Brookville, Pennsylvania; Naples and St. Petersburg, Florida; Roanoke, Virginia; and now Roswell, New Mexico, site of the famous UFO crash. Geez o' Pete. Speaking of Pete, check out The Web Site of Pete+Pete, which incidentally was cancelled and the future of television is looking grimmer than ever before. Right now I'm a sophomore at Hollins College, a girls' school in Roanoke, Virginia. I'm majoring in creative writing (if you're interested in that sort of thing you should visit the Turd Island Pubic Library ). I'm minoring in film and French and play guitar very badly. I love music, art, and television. When I grow up I want to get married and have six kids (boys: Lochlain, Devlin, and Damon(not sure on that one). girls: Thomasina, Henrietta, and Mab. (No, it's not gonna be like the Brady Bunch ha ha).) I want to be as good a mom as the one from "A Christmas Story" (only I won't wash my kid's mouth out with soap cause I won't care if he swears or not). I expect to be juggling my family life with my career as a famous writer. I would be an atheist, if I didn't know that God has it in for me. I believe in selective breeding and I like animals and old people. Also I have some friends. Those who are computer literate include:
Beth on the Web Homepage of the biggest 'hag you'll ever meet.
Keith's Page My friend Keith's imaginitively titled homepage.
Who Shot Disco Stu? The rantings of an embittered young man named Scottie.
I have two cats, Maggie and Paco. Maggie is fat and brown. Paco is skinny and black.
I was born with a thick little morbid streak and I like to spend time in cemeteries.
I have an INFP (Introvert Intuition Feeling Perception) type personality according to Myers-Briggs. It's the rarest personality combination and is the opposite of the prototypical American's which (although I'm proud of this fact), as far as I can tell, just makes my functioning in daily life amongst others very challenging.
I sometimes unconciously walk on my tip toes. Someone once told me this means I was put in a walker a lot as a child, but I don't remember that.
Believe it or not, my favorite holiday is Valentine's Day. And it's not like I have a gaggle of suitors showing up at my doorstep on February 14 either. In fact I've only got Valentine presents from love interests twice in my life. Flowers from a boyfriend I happened to have one time and a bag of Skittles and a card from this adorable boy with a mohawk (and his friend) who had a crush on me in fourth grade. I just like Valentine's Day because I always seem to have a good time with my unattached friends and I get lots of candy and cards and I feel very loved. My favorite holiday would be Halloween but no matter how hard I try I always have a rotten time. I'm cursed.
Useless Trivia Pertaining to My Life
If you're really, really bored and I'm not kidding about this, you could visit the homepage of the Boise punk scene, which I'm including out of morbid curiosity because it contain a section on a band called Rank Review which is made up of at least two boys I went to junior high with. I suppose I just find it mind-boggling that people go on existing after I've seen them for undoubtedly the last time in my life. Boise is great though, you know. I think they still might like those awful Seattle bands up there, though.
If you happen to be stalking me you might be interested in this; the web page of the boy I had a huge crush on and never told him in junior high. Bizarre, isn't it? Believe me, he's a lot better looking than that picture.
And last, but not least, the actual junior high where this all took place.

Things That Are Very Important to Me
In this twisted, black, little misanthropic heart of mine there are a few soft spots. One is for animals. I am extremely passionate about issues regarding their welfare and preservation as I generally prefer them to people. I love all animals. I, normally a shy, quiet, little girl, once screamed at a customer while I was working at Winn-Dick-Me who thought it was clever to pick up a can of roach spray and spray it at my friend Rochester the Roach who was making his way across the floor. I hopefully saved
Rochester's life. I suppose probably most people would think I was psycho and even most good animal-loving people would think I was overreacting just a little bit, but I don't. It's always felt right to me to be good to other living creatures and it upsets me when someone else isn't. That's why people like this:H.A.A.R.M. make me sick. I came across the Hunters Against Animal Rights Madness page in my search for animal rights pages. It scares me that so many people think so much of themselves that organized cruelty is acceptable to them. And of course they back it all up with Bible verses and "for the good of the children" crap. They even have a thing about how they're active in finding missing children, I guess to try to trick you into thinking maybe they are not the horrible people you thought they were. When I read this page I wanted to kill these people, I mean really kill them. If they were standing right next to me now I'd already be disemboweling them. Just horrible, nasty emotion spewing from my sensibilities. If you read the page, you'll see that they don't allow any guest book entries or messages with profanity in them because they know how mad they're making me. I, who am normally quite calm and eloquent could not say anything to these bastards with out using the f-word about twenty times. Maybe you can do better. I will try to compose my self. I would be happy and grateful if you would like to do something for my favorite cause or at least educate yourself about it. Here is a page of links to Animal Welfare and Rights Sites to get you started.
Famous People I've Seen In Person
Joyce Carol Oates - at a book signing at my college
Meryl Streep - taking her kids around Disneyworld
Ronald Reagan - waving from a back of a train to our town in Haskins, Ohio when I was about six
Ben and Jerry - giving out free ice cream at my old college
and my favorite...
Andy Richter! I skipped my Rock n' Roll History class (quit larfing) to go see Andy give a speech at Virginia Tech last February. The speech was about absolutely nothing, just Andy rambling on about himself. It was certanly one of the most memorable events of my life. Andy was just like he is on TV except a lot more scared. There were some kind of marginal fans there and he had no bodyguard. (No, I wasn't one of them!)
