What’s New?
As a teacher of art at the college level and as a community based muralist, I have had the privilege of working with numerous talented young artists over the years. On this page I share with you some knowledge I have of their successes.

From left to right in this picture is Charles Davis, student Willie Morris, and student Terrance Robinson (1996). Morris currently teaches at a high school near Tallahassee, Florida and received the Teacher of the Year Award in the State of Florida. Robinson is currently teaching at Tougaloo College.

Lurlynn Franklin

Lurlynn Franklin
Ms Franklin was a Senior in high school when she worked with me on the CETA Summer Youth Program in 1981. She currently exhibits her paintings and does commissioned work in the city of Memphis, Tennessee.

Andrew Lark
He assisted me in painting a mural for the Carrollton Train Depot during the Carrollton Pilgrimage in 1990. Mr. Lark graduated from Mississippi Valley State University in 1992 and has since received numerous citations for his success teaching art a Starkville High School.
