The Begining

Born in Guelph Ontario, Canada, on October 3rd 1973, she originally wanted to be a dancer. She began dancing at the tender age of 6 and by the age of 9 was training with the National Ballet School of Canada. She excelled at her art and was adept at six different forms of dance but unfortunately, several injuries made a lifelong career impossible. So, lucky for us, she turned to acting for a livelihood and has proven to be great in this field too. One of her first roles, on the Canadian television series Catwalk, combined her dancing and her acting abilities. As Daisy, she first caught the eye of the public. Her moderate success allowed her to get work in the United States. She worked on a run of tv movies which eventually landed her a role on Party of Five. This success lead to even bigger and better things.

The Movies

In 1996, Neve Campbell made headlines and reached cinematic success. Early on in the year, The Craft captured the attention of teenagers everywhere and received quite a lot of reluctant praise from critics. Although her role in the film was rather humble, it got her noticed. Then, just months later, came Scream. The sleeper hit of the year wowed audiences everywhere and became a cult hit phenomenon. Fans came out of the woodwork and Campbell would never be the same. Her face is now seen everywhere and fan pages are popping up all over the web.

The Future

It remains to be seen if Campbell can monopolize off her recent accomplishments, but with two new features on the way (one of them yet another sequel to Scream) she seems to be on a winning streak.
