V.V. Pochitalov, S.N. Kostin, N.K. Maximov, S.V. Gerasimov - prominent
artists themselves. Graduation work: "Pushkin Reading His Poem for the
Decemberists to maria Volkonsky Before Her Departure to Sibiria". (Based
on a real historic event).
1951 Became a member of Union of Soviet Artists.
1962-82 Professor of Painting at the Moscow State
Pedagogical Institute
1983 Awarded the title of "Honoured Artist of
Russia"
Vera Dreznina's paintings are in the art collections
of dozens museums across Russia and republics of the former Soviet Union
including the famouse Tretiakov Gallery, Moscow. Her works are in private
collections in Austria, Russia, England, Hu ngary, Japan and the US.
