I worked
as a consultant with Kushwah and Kushwah architects for this heritage
interior project and was involved in design of interior spaces. I also
visualised the project and generated photorealistic renderings of
project. The project was attempted in 1998.
The
historic state bank of India building in Gwalior, India was constructed
in 1930s and occupies a prominent location in the heart of the city.
This is one of the buildings which was originally designed for a bank
but with increasing banking services and activities, need was felt to
re-organise interior spaces in order to achieve optimal usage of space
inside the building.
In our
proposal, we aimed to keep the structural elements intact while creating
spaces for new activities on ground and first floor. |
