You know those patterns you sometimes see hung on people's walls. The strange ones, which seem to be simply a jumble of random shapes until you look at them with unfocussed eyes. Then, they form themselves into a 3D image and you can't work out why you hadn't seen it right from the off. I had been looking at things going on around me for a month or more. Strange things. Weird things. One day last week the pattern started to resolve itself into an image. At first, I thought, "Fuck off! That's stupid!" Then, as the picture became clearer, I realized I didn't like what I was looking at. In fact, I didn't like it one little bit.
