A little information about the House Plants.

The House Plants have thus far produced one album, and two short films. This took about two years. We're rather slow. And stubborn. Stay tuned for more.

The album that became Answers to Questions was started as whim one day in the studio when we were recording phrases that could be used as a source of vocal samples in other projects (have look at our links page). The first recorded answers were so interesting that we began to record more answers, and to puzzle them together into an audio collage. Originally the resulting collages were going to be put to music, but they seemed interesting enough on their own that we decided not to use music (with a couple of exceptions).

All of this material has been created in and around the city of Lund in Sweden, which is where Backroom Bhudda studios is located. Backroom Bhudda is powered nowadays by a Power Mac G4 running Cubase VST 4.1, Dreamweaver, Flash, Netscape, SoundJam and a variety of other stuff that cost more than we could afford.
