Welcome to my site.

Well, looks like Yahoo is shutting down GeoCities. I figured it would happen eventually. Personal websites have slowly been replaced by Facebook and MySpace. It's understandable. So, I don't really think I'll be putting much more effort into maintaining this site. I haven't made any major changes in years. Websites are just too time-consuming. it's been fun, but time to let it go. I still have all the HTML for all the pages saved on my computer in case I ever want to revive it. So the way you see this site now is the way it will stay.

If you want to get in touch with me, feel free to email me, or find me on Facebook. I'm part of the Mines and Denver networks at the moment. I will soon be part of the Dallas/Fort Worth and Mines Alum '09 Networks. Thanks for checking out my site!

On campus: Kafadar Commons, Guggenheim Hall, and the "M".

Greetings from beautiful Golden, Colorado.

Stuff about me

Well, let's see. I was born in Dallas, Texas on Janurary 5, 1981 and lived in Denton, Texas until April of 1998; when I moved to Colorado Springs, CO. I graduated from Liberty High School on May 27, 1999. I'm into photography, mostly photographing landscapes and nature type stuff; pretty much a hobby. Doing it professionally would kick butt, but there's not a ton of money in it. I absolutely love camping and spending time outdoors. I hope to get a Jeep someday soon so I can do some off-roading and find more places to campout and kick back. I'm also into geocaching (check out my geocaching page for more info). Unfortunately, I don't have much free time to go geocaching these days. I LOVE MUSIC!!!!. I like to listen to any kind of music. I taught myself to play guitar, and have been playing for almost seven years now. I'm an Eagle Scout with a silver palm. I am an associate advisor and co-founder of Venturing Crew 62 back in Colorado Springs. They focuses on high adventure activities for guys and girls between the ages of 14 and 21. They do everything from backpacking to snowtubing to partying. They had a website, but it's gone now. I wish I could go to the meetings every so often, but they're held on Mondays which doesn't work since I'm busy with classes. I took a few classes at Pikes Peak Community College over the past couple years. In the fall of 2004, I transfered to the Colorado School of Mines where I am majoring in Mechanical Engineering. I am planning to minor in geology or something related. I am very interested in space exploration and being involved in the commercialization of space and where that will lead us in the future. I would love to work for someone in the aerospace industry. I am currently working with a space exploration research group at Mines headed by Dr. Masami Nakagawa. Where will this take me? Who knows...hopefully up.....way up. I'm starting to look at getting an internship next summer. Dr. Nakagawa has some connections with NASA and Ball Aerospace. So we shall see.

Latest News In The World Of Jeff

For the latest in the world of Jeff, check out MySpace or Facebook. I'm on those all the time since they're easy to update, unlike this which requires HTML coding. I pretty much keep this site becasue it appeals to the nerd in me. Take care!
