We weren't allowed to take photos inside, but this monastery has some very old catacombs below it with thousands and thousands of skeletons on display.

Ballestas Islands off the coast of Paracas

The Ballestas Islands are home to thousands and thousands of different birds and a hell of a lot of sea lions as well.

This part of the island is known as the nursery. This is where the sea lions teach the baby sea lions to swim. When we went there most of the baby sea lions were about 3-4 months old so we got to see plenty of them practicising their swimming.
