The Sound Station is an arcade system which puts music downloads on a CD, iPod, or other MP3 device.  A person can choose songs from any recording artist for $.80 a song or choose the option of buying a Sound Pass which will cost $11.99 a month for unlimited songs.  The arcade system will have a slot to shoot out a CD when the CD is completed.  The CD will cost an additional $1.00.  The system will be available in Southern Illinois at the University Mall in Carbondale, the SIU-C Student Center in Carbondale, John A. Logan College in Carterville, and the Illinois Centre Mall in Marion.  Expansion plans include a system at Southern Illinois University Edwardsville and home internet use for the Sound Station in the near future.  Amounts will be payable by cash and credit card.
