He married Rhoda Ella Chandler in Hart Co, GA, December 24, 1878.(81) Rhoda was born in Reed Creek, Franklin (Hart), Co, GA circa 1849. She was the daughter of Henry Farmer Chandler and Frances 'Fannie' Witherspoon Harbin.

Rev. Oliver and Rhoda Ella Chandler had the following children:

3 ii. Maud F Oliver was born in Hart Co, GA circa 1882.

4 iii. Senior Oliver was born in Hart Co, GA circa 1884.

5 iv. Willie Oliver was born in Hart Co, GA circa 1887.

6 v. Clifford Oliver was born in Hart Co, GA circa 1890.
