Hello fellow Internet surfer and welcome to my home on the web.
I'm very glad that you made it this far . . . and I hope that
you'll stick around long enough to get to know just a little bit
more about me and my life. After all,these days,acquaintances
that begin in cyberspace are often the most real, vivid, and
long-lasting - and maybe that will be true of us.
Look around,hang out on the beach, see and be seen.

My Background

I was born in a small town in Mississippi, but my family
soon gave up on farming, and moved to the "River City"
Memphis. I grew up in the midst of the city,and at the
heart of the city is a street named Beale St.the street
where" the blues began" . Here I learned to lovepop music ,
rhythm andblues.I also learned that one must have an education
and a goal in mind to make it in this world. I had a dream
of becoming a nurse. I got the education, and followed my
dream. I have a thirst for more knowledge,so here I am hanging
out on the" net",and acquiring knowledge.

My Interests

I guess that the best - and fastest - way to really get to
know me is by discovering what I like. So here goes . .
I love to travel,go sightseeing,and shop.
I adore movies - especially classic film noir. Just a few
of my favorites, Casablanca, Double Indemnity,...
and Auntie Mame.
I'm an avid reader. I love history, ancient and modern, with
a little romance. One of my favorite wild west figures is
Wyatt Earp, and Tombstone is the town I would like to live
in. My favorite books are Gone with The Wind, and The
Scarlet Letter.
I love to chat and cruise on my PowWow.
