In The Mood
It's those little sentimental touches; those tokens of affection that say "I love you" that sometimes get overlooked as a relationship grows and falls into the "comfort zone". Keeping the romance alive is easy really, you just need to make your mate feel like the precious gem that they are. The possibilities are endless, but here's a few simple things you can do to enhance the mood and keep the butterflies fluttering...
MOOD MUSIC
Romantic music playing in the background always helps to set the mood! You and your partner may have some special songs already, but it never hurts to have plenty of romantic music on hand! These are some midi files of my favorite romantic tunes, help yourself to as many as you would like. Make your selections, click "Play", then you will need to choose either "Open" to just listen from here, or "Save" to download the file to your computer.
ROMANTIC IDEAS
Ok, so you have selected your music,now what? Well, just pick a few things off this list that catch your eye, and let your imagination run wild with them. Oh, and the most important thing...HAVE FUN!!
| 1. Learn how to say "I Love You" in different languages- you'll find a whole list of them here. Write each on a small piece of paper and hide them in strategic places where your partner will find them when they least expect it. |
| 2. Create your own private language (my Honey Bunny and I have at least 3, and we always seem to come up with new ones)and tell each other suggective or romantic things that only the two of you will understand. |
| 3. Don't let a day go by without SAYING THE WORDS "I love you" at least 5 times(10 is even better)! |
| 4. Gaze deeply into your loved one's eyes and touch often when talking to each other. |
| 5. When traveling in the car together, kiss at every stoplight or stopsign. |
| 6. Tell your sweetheart at least one thing every day that amazes you about them. |
| 7. Put a few rose petals in his lunchbox, and leave the rest in a trail from the front door to your bedroom , where you will be waiting to greet him wearing something he bought for you. |
| 8. Make a "care package" with a lock of your hair, a splash of your cologne or perfume on a piece of cotton, a lipstick kiss on a piece of paper or some candy kisses, and other small reminders of you that he or she can keep at their desk at work. |
| 9. Kiss each other in a new spot every day. Dont forget about non-traditional wonderful places like eyelids, and hands, fingers and toes! |
| 10. Don't act your age! Go to a mall an watch teenage sweethearts, then follow their example. |
| 11. Always walk side by side, holding hands |
| 12. Kiss in public =0) |
| 13.Write your love a poem or sing them a special song. |
