Welcome
to my Art Page!
On this page is a collection of links to pages featuring artists that I like and hope you'll be interested in. These are all links to pages that I created. There is also a link to some of my DOODLES (a few of which are animated.)  Please click around and enjoy yourself.
NOTE: The definitions of various art terms sprinkled about on these pages do not necessarily correspond with the artist's page on which they appear.

"Works of art, in my opinion, are the only objects in the material universe to possess internal order, and that is why, though I don't believe that only art matters, I do believe in Art for Art's sake."
E. M. FORSTER
If you would like to see some of my "art," which looks like it should be magnet-ed to your refrigerator, check out my DOODLES page. NOTE: Several of my Doodles are animated, but some of them take quite a while to download.
"Since it is a joy to have the benefit of what is good, it is a greater one to experience what is better, and in art the best is good enough."
JOHANN WOLFGANG VON GOETHE
"Without freedom, no art; art lives only on the restraint it imposes on itself, and dies of all others."
ALBERT CAMUS
Resistance, Rebellion, and Death
Postscript: In 2000, I discovered (via my friend, Trish...thanks!) a truly wonderful artist named DENNIS CORRIGAN who, I think, is the bastard spawn of a Terry Gilliam/Gary Larson subversive biological experiment with a touch of Bosch-drinking-tequila feel. My personal favorite is (and my new goal in life is to own the original):
"Man with a Smirk on his Face" (right).
"The moral life of man forms part of the subject matter of the artist, but the morality of art consists in the perfect use of an imperfect medium."
OSCAR WILDE
"Fine art is that in which the hand, the head,
and the heart of man go together."

JOHN RUSKIN
