If you press the CALL key while turning on, you will get a channel scope
demonstration.
                                RX/TX mods:

1. Remove the power cable and antenna.
2. Remove the four screws (2 on each side) holding the case together. 
   HOLD THE CONTROL HEAD AGAINST THE MAIN UNIT>
3. Remove the 2 screws holding the control head together.
4. Sepearate the front and back cover of the control unit.
5. Cut the red wire to allow reception in the Aircraft and the 800 MHz 
band.
6. Cut the blue wire to expand the TX and RX frequencies.
7. Reassemble the control head.
8. Reset the Microprocessor and reprogram you favorite settings.

                            And/OR

To expand Rx and/or Tx range on the DR610T
Remove the back of the front panel. (Remove the 2 screws)
Cut the RED jumper wire for Rx expansion only
Cut both RED and BLUE wires for Tx Expansion.
Reset the unit after the MOD by pressing and holding the F key
while turning on.

                            And/OR

Open the removable face plate and cut the small blue and red wires.  Gives 
extended RX and TX..

                           After effect:
Ranges:
Tx 138-173.995MHz
Rx 108-173,995MHz (AM in the 108-135,995MHz range)
   400-511,995MHz
   800-998.9MHz (DR610E only!) You also have to close the 'D'
solder pad on the RF board.


The DR610E can also be modified by a keyboard sequence while
in key-lock mode.
