 TRIO TS-510

Although this RIG uses a transistor in the AGC circuit, similar but not
equivalent to DRAKE 2-C circuit, in my opinion the AGC is not good, and audio
sound is almost same as for TRIO (KENWOOD) TS-500. I will propose to insert a
10K...33K resistor in series with the 0.33uF capacitor for slow AGC. The use
of a series resistor has always been good in AGC circuits which contain only
one type of AGC. (DRAKE TR-4 is different, but - I would say: the best of
all). The time constant capacitor will very often be increased to improve SSB
reception quality. With the resistor in series, AGC can follow an SSB-signal
as it increased.
