FT-920 Transmit Frequency range expand

[A] Environment
   1. Computer 286 (12MHz), MS-DOS 3.1 or later
   2. RS-232C (Straight 9 ways type) cable
   3. Software (att0274.EXE, GEN-TBL.TXT)
 
[B] Frequency expand programming procedure
   1. Connect the FT-920 and the computer using RS-232C straight
      cable
   2. Press and hold [STEP] key and [LOCK] key on the FT-920
      then Turn the power switches on.
      (Display 000000 blinking at the MSD)
   3. Type "0761161" to the pass word form ten keypad then
      press [ENT] key
      (You will hear beep sound and display back to frequency 
      as the normal operation.)
   4. Press [MENU] key (Get into MENU mode)
   5. Select "F-SS (Destina)" then [ENT]
      (Display will show the current setting)
   6. Select "OUTSIDE" rotating sub-DIAL knob for clockwise, 
      followed [ENT] key.
      (Stop blinking of "OUTSIDE" display)
   7. Press [MENU] key. (Display backs to the frequency mode.)
   8. Insure that you can not transmit on any frequency ( if you can stop here do not go             on your systems outside table in your eprom is already programed, going any farther will result in damage to your radio.)
   9. Turn the computer switch ON.
   10. Insert the frequency expand DISK to the computer DRIVE A:\
  11. Set MS-DOS mode prompt
  12. Type "A:"
  13. Check the DISK typing "DIR".
      (att0274.EXE, GEN-TBL.TXT)
  14. Type "att0274  gen-tbl.txt") then RETURN
      (If you are connecting to the  RS-232C COM2 port so you must
      type "att0274  gen-tbl.txt  /C" then RETURN)
  15. You will see "TX Table Write Complete" when the expand 
      programming installation is completed.
