ENHANCEMENTS:
Driver Enhancements:
- Enables PCI Express (PCIe) devices, 280NVS, FX330, FX1300, FX3400.
- Improves performance.
- Improves installer functionality.
- Provides x86 execution layer.
- Adds new 'nvidia-settings' runtime display tool.

Packaging Enhancements:
- Provides package that is not kernel dependent. This new package takes
advantage of NVIDIA's new '.run' installer functionality. This RPM package can
be used against several kernels within the supported distributions.

- Provides easy one-step configure/unconfigure scripts.

- Installs an "init" script that automatically builds the driver during
startup, as necessary, to provide support for users that change or update
kernels.

- Provides improved documentation, including information about how to take
advantage of other, more advanced, installation options that are available.

- Provides example configuration files for XFree.

FIXES:
- Fixes issue where the console VGA output was not restored when in init 3 and
exiting the X-server.
- Fixes an issue with SUSE 9.x releases where the NVIDIA driver did not
initialize on workstations with more than 4 GB of memory.
- Fixes issue where the log file was flooded with "NVRM" warning messages.
- Fixes various TwinView display issues that are specific to multi-screen and
multi-card configurations.

PREREQUISITES:
N/A

HOW TO USE:
1. You must be ROOT user with no X-server running (init 3).

2. Check for existing nvidia packages, at prompt type:
   'rpm -qa | grep nv'

3. Remove any previous package, for example:
   'rpm -e nvidia-5336-1.x86_64.rpm'

4. Install the new package:
   'rpm -ivh nvidia-6111-1.0.x86_64.rpm'

NOTE:
This will install the package file onto the system, but does not configure the
new driver.

5. Configure the new package by executing script:
   '/opt/hp/graphics/nvidia/configure'

NOTE:
This will place/build, and configure the nVIDIA accelerated graphics module.
**It will also move aside any current XF86Config file and put a standard nVIDIA
one in place.

FOR MORE INFORMATION:
See the documentation provided in '/opt/hp/graphics/nvidia' for more
information on this package, advanced istallation options, and more example
XF86Configuration files and options.
