SP31570. Intel PROSet software is recommended for notebooks running the
Microsoft Windows 2000 Operating System because the Intel PROSet software
enables the Intel wireless devices to be fully configured and enables the
network connection to be managed.

ENHANCEMENTS:  
- Provides Intel PRO/Wireless 2200 and Intel PRO/Wireless 2915 Network
  Connection driver Version 9.0.3.9, which: 
      - Fixes issue where an Intel PRO/Wireless 2200 b/g card may show an "Out
        Of Range" error message after trying to connect to a channel 13 Access
        Point.
      - Fixes encryption issue that may occur when using WPA2-TKIP, WEP, and 
        WPA-AES, WEP, and AES+TKIP+WEP Access Points.
      - Fixes an issue with AT&T virtual private network (VPN) and chaining
        that occurs when a user upgrades from Intel driver version 9.0.1 to
        Intel driver version 9.0.2.
      - Fixes issue where an incorrect protected extensible authentication
        protocol (PEAP) password may cause a user to be locked out of a domain.
 
- Provides Intel PRO/Wireless 2100 3B Mini PCI Adapter driver version 1.2.4.35,
  which:
      - Includes support for Cisco Compatible Extensions 2.0 (software 
        supplicant required).
      - Includes support for EAP-FAST.
      - Includes 802.11i and WPA2 support.
      - Fixes an intermittent issue with the Intel PRO/Wireless 2100 and 
        suspend/hibernate operations with the HP Compaq Tablet PC tc1100.
