DESCRIPTION:  

This SoftPaq creates a FW/BIOS update diskette for HP 8 Internal Port SAS HBA with RAID.

Enhancements/Fixes:
	- Fix to report that the HBA is PCI 2.x specification compliant.


HOW TO USE:

1. Obtain 2 formatted 1.44-MB diskettes.

2. Download the SoftPaq to a directory on your hard drive and change 
   to that directory.  The file that is downloaded is an executable with 
   a filename based on the SoftPaq Number above.

3. From that drive and directory, execute the downloaded file and 
   follow the on-screen instructions.  You will be prompted to 
   insert a formatted diskette in a drive to create the diskette. 
   Label this diskette as "FW/BIOS Diskette for HP 8 Internal Port 
   SAS HBA with RAID."

4. After the diskette has been created, you may delete the SoftPaq 
   file downloaded in step 2.

5. Create a DOS bootable diskette with the second diskette.

6. Boot the ProLiant server with the HP 8 internal Port SAS HBA with 
   RAID using the DOS bootable diskette.

7. Once the server has booted, insert the "FW/BIOS Diskette for HP 8 Internal 
   Port SAS HBA with RAID".

8. At command prompt, change to the diskette drive and execute 
	"update p"

9. Remove all diskettes and reboot the server.

10. For additional instructions, refer to "Update.txt" in the diskette.
