DESCRIPTION:  
This package contains the Intel PROSet Application for the listed systems,
adapters, and operating systems.

Intel PROSet is a wireless LAN application that replaces the default Microsoft
Windows XP Windows Zero Configuration service. Once Intel PROSet is installed,
it must be used to configure Intel wireless devices and to manage the wireless
network connection. Intel PROSet is required for users with the listed Intel
adapters in order to connect to wireless networks that use Cisco Compatible
Extensions. Users may also find Intel PROSet useful for advanced profile
management, single-sign-on support, and advanced diagnostics. Most home and
small office/home office (SOHO) users do not need this functionality. If
Microsoft Windows XP Windows Zero Configuration service is desired again,
uninstall Intel PROSet and restart the notebook.

ENHANCEMENTS:  
- Includes Intel PROSet 10.0, which:
   - Provides Intel PROSet 10.0 Software for Intel PRO/Wireless 2200 and Intel 
     PRO/Wireless 2915 Network Connection driver version 9.0.3.9.
   - Adds the ability to use Machine Certificates for persistent connections, as
     well as pre-logon connection (Single-Sign-On).
   - Provides support for Cisco Compatible Extensions 3.0.

 - Includes Intel PROSet 7.1.4.5, which:
   - Provides Intel PROSet for Intel PRO/Wireless 2100 3B Mini PCI adapter 
     driver 1.2.4.35.
   - Fixes issue where client periodically disconnects and reconnects on its
     own after resuming from Hibernation mode until the notebook is restarted
    (rebooted).

PREREQUISITES:  
If the notebook is configured with an Intel PRO/Wireless 2100 3B mini PCI
adapter, the Intel PRO/Wireless 2200 network connection, or the Intel
PRO/Wireless 2915 network connection, download and install SoftPaq Number
SP31678, "Intel PRO/Wireless Drivers," Version 5.00 Rev A. SoftPaq Number
SP31678 installs driver version 1.2.4.35 for the Intel PRO/Wireless 2100 3B mini
PCI adapter or driver version 9.0.3.9 for the Intel PRO/Wireless 2200 or 2915
network connection.

HOW TO USE:  
1. Download the SoftPaq .EXE file to a directory on your hard drive.
