HOW TO USE:
1. Download the .tgz file to your local hard drive. Unpack the .tgz file with
'tar -xvzf . An .iso file is unpacked.

2. Burn the .iso file to CD R bootable media. For example, on a Linux
Workstation use the 'cdrecord' utility: 'cdrecord -v -eject speed=16 dev=2,0,0
filename.iso' where dev= is the device address for the CD-ROM burner that comes
from 'cdrecord --scanbus'.

3. Insert the first disc from the Red Hat Enterprise Linux 4 Update 1 or Update
2 box set, when prompted.

4. Select the option for loading Linux that best suits your needs:
- 'gui' for a custom installation that leverages all RPMS needed to enable your
HP hardware.

WARNING: This option erases your hard drive and rewrites new disc partitions.

- 'install' for a HP identified installation that leverages all RPMS needed to
enable your HP hardware, as well as specific RPMS identifed to optimize your HP
Workstation experience.

5. When prompted at the end of the installation for additional software, insert
the HP Driver CD you've made from this .iso.

6. Continue following prompts until the operating system is sucessfully
installed.
