This package creates files that contain a binary image for the System BIOS (ROM) for the listed notebook models with a 68DTT Family ROM. This package is used to flash the System ROM on target notebooks in a network. It requires System Software Manager (SSM). NOTE: After updating the BIOS to version F.0D, the Quick Launch Buttons softwaremust be updated by downloading the most current version of the Quick LaunchButtons SoftPaq from the HP website.NOTE: To determine the ROM family and ROM date, press F10 on the targetnotebook during startup to run the Setup Utility, and then view File/System Information. |

HOW TO USE: |
NOTE: To flash the System BIOS on a target notebook in a network, the System BIOS image must be used with SSM. 1. Download the SoftPaq .EXE file to a directory on your hard drive. 2. Copy the SoftPaq to the file store. IMPORTANT: DO NOT TURN OFF POWER TO THE COMPUTER WHILE PERFORMING THIS PROCEDURE! After updating the BIOS to version F.0D, complete the following steps: 1. Remove the current version of the Quick Launch Buttons application from the notebook. 2. From the HP website, download the latest version of the Quick Launch Buttons SoftPaq. 3.
